On Wednesdays from 6:30pm - 7:30pm on October 9 - 30, youth ages 8-18 will learn how to effectively communicate with their dogs using positive reinforcement methods.
This four-session foundation training class employs positive training methods that reward desirable behaviors to help your dog learn in a humane way. These methods foster a trusting and closer bond between owners and their dogs.

Please read the New York State 4-H Dog Policy before registering. All participants will need to sign the CCE Dog/Animal Release of Liability and Indemnification Agreement and the Animal Registration Form upon enrolling in the class.
Registration is limited to 6 dogs. Registration fee is per dog, not per child, so siblings can participate without an added fee.

The 4-H Beginner Dog Training Program is limited to youth ages 8-18. For youth safety, a parent/guardian must be present for participants 13 and under.
