A wonderful family-friendly cooking workshop for children ages 7 and up with an adult at the Andy Murphy Neighborhood Center in Kingston. It's being presented in collaboration with the City of Kingston, the Creating Healthy Schools and Communities team, Family of Woodstock, and sponsored by Sunflower Market of Woodstock & Rhinebeck and Calcutta Kitchens.
Join us for a FREE hands-on family friendly workshop and sit down dinner to learn how to cook with our March fruit and vegetable fruit of the month - cabbage and mango! You'll learn how to make okonomiyaki (Japanese cabbage pancakes), Napa cabbage soup, and a delicious mango dessert. This workshop will be all about celebrating the "Kingston Eats" veggie and fruit of the month in a joyful way and sharing a delicious meal together. Come hungry!
